The Polini hi-speed case is an electronic system and has been tested for Shimano electric bikes with a Shimano motor to reduce engine performance at 25 km/h, thus increasing support to about 50 km/h (maximising engine performance). Polini Hi-Speed is very easy to install as the connectors are compatible with the original connectors by inserting this housing into the speed sensor cable set. Installation can be done in minutes. For its accommodation, we use the available volume within the housing that cover the engine: in this way it becomes aesthetically completely invisible. It does not change the design of the bike and the case is protected from the weather. It is reversible and can be returned to the original configuration in seconds. The Polini Shimano Steps set requires no adjustments as it regulates itself. No battery as it is powered by itself. It can be easily deactivated by loosening the magnet placed outside the housing. The speed indicator shows half of your actual speed, and the same for distances and range. To know your speed and actual kilometres, it may be necessary to install an additional electronic counter. The installation of this set invalidates the guarantee of the electric bike and prohibits you from riding on public roads and bicycle paths.
